Tarzan na filmu
O Tarzanu je urađeno mnogo filmova od kojih je poslednji sredinom 1998. neslavno prošao u bioskopima. Tarzana je igralo ukupno dvadeset glumaca od kojih je najpoznatiji Džoni Vajsmiler, autor prepoznatljivog Tarzanovog krika koji je korišten u filmovima i nakon što je Vajsmiler prestao da igra Tarzana. Zanimljivo je da su producenti samtrali da Vajsmilerovom kriku treba dodati još nekoliko komponenti tako da je umiksovan sa rikom lava, smehom hijene, vriskom nekih majmuna, krikovima pojedinih ptica, zvukom violine, sve ukupno 12 različitih zvukova. Ostali tumači Tarzana bili su mnogo bleđi od Džoni Vajsmilera.
Postoji velika razlika između Berouzovog Tarzana u knjigama, obrazovanog i inteligentnog poliglote i Tarzana u filmu koji je jedva izgovarao par reči.
Kompanije Dizni pre nekoliko godina uradila je animirani film ?Tarzan and the Lost City" uz pomoć 3D kopjuterske tehnike koji je prikazivan i u našim bioskopima.
